Working With Time in Excel

When entering time in the cell don’t forget it starts with hours. Using a 24 hour clock is best, no need to type “am or pm”. Once you enter your time you can format the cell as needed and the formula will work. If you are only adding minutes and seconds, you still need the leading hours for the formulas and formats to work.
